Meta’s Horizon Worlds can be used on Smartphone and PC as well
Even without using a VR headset, those who are interested to experience the virtual world by creating a Metaverse (virtual world) will be able to do so as per their wish in the future. Because this time the VR (virtual reality) technology social platform 'Horizon Worlds' created by Mete is creating the opportunity to use on smartphones and computers as well.
Gadget 360 reported that Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is keen to launch Horizon Worlds in several more countries soon to increase the number of users. In continuation of this, META is going to launch the opportunity to use the Horizon Worlds platform on smartphones and computers in addition to VR headsets.
Metaverse should be accessible to everyone, regardless of the device the user is using, Meta said. While the Quest VR headset is the best way to use Metaverse, it requires multiple devices. This step has been taken to open up the virtual world to more people.
It may be noted that, Horizon Worlds was launched in December 2021. Horizon Worlds is currently only available in the US, UK, Canada, France, Iceland, Ireland and Spain. Meta has recently introduced several security features for Horizon Worlds to control voice chat and avatar location for the convenience of users.
